American Society of Plant Biologists - ASPB

 

The American Society of Plant Biologists promotes the growth and development of plant biology, encourages and publishes research in plant biology, and promotes the interests and growth of plant scientists in general.

 

 

The Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) was founded in 1946 as the Tissue Culture Association to foster exchange of knowledge of in vitro biology of cells, tissues and organs from both plant and animals (including humans). The focus is on biological research, development, and applications of significance to science and society.
The Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA) is the leader in advancing the state's bioscience research and industry sector through business development events, political advocacy, information, and member services. WBBA has 358 member companies throughout the state of Washington.

The Useful Wild Plants (UWP) Project sets a standard for studying plant uses throughout the world. The UWP’s mission is to advance stewardship of the wild and naturalized plants of Texas and surrounding regions. The UVP is dedicated to the sensitive tasks of promoting the economic development of underutilized renewable native botanical resources in an ethical and responsible manner and preserving wild plant populations and their habitats from extinction.
